Vo Dat temple is a historical-cultural relic ranked by the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan Province in Decision No. 2134 / QD-UBND dated September 4, 2013. This is also the only village temple in Duc Linh district, located on February 3 in Quarter 9, Duc Tai town. The main direction of the village temple is looking to the Southeast, about 350m from Duc Tai Town People’s Committee and Duc Linh District People’s Committee about 11 km to the Southwest.

From Phan Thiet city, take National Highway 1A to the direction of Ho Chi Minh City 58km, to the intersection of Base VI, turn right along DT.720 about 40km to Lac Tanh town, Tanh Linh district. From here, take the road DT.710 to the northwest about 20km to the junction intersecting DT.710 and DT.713 (Vo Xu town), then turn left to follow DT.713 about 12km to reach village temple Vo Dat village.

According to the practices of his father in the past, the name of the village temple is often taken from the name of the village where they live and Vo Dat village is no exception. Vo Dat is a place since this land was discovered and created life by the first generations of Vietnamese people. Later, when creating the village temple, the people here took the village’s name to name it village temple. Up to now, although the name of Vo Dat village is no longer available, that name is still preserved by the people to this day.

Currently, local people still pass on many legends related to the name of Vo Dat village, the legend said: “Once upon a time, there was an ethnic minority named Mang Dat living in the late nineteenth and early centuries.
