"Must-come" places in Binh Thuan province - (08/08/2015)

( For those who love the beauty of nature, especially who love sea and beaches, Bai Rang Beach, Cu Lao Cau (Cau Island) and Mui Ne sand dunes are listed as "must-come" places when you travel to Binh Thuan. You would be surprised by the unique and astonishing nature there.

1. Bai Rang Beach
Located about 15 km to the north-east of Phan Thiet city center, Bai Rang is considered as one of the most beautiful beaches in Binh Thuan with lines of green coconut trees curving along the coast. This place is attractive with open cast blocks of laterite stone, which make the view here as beautiful as a picture. The most interesting thing here is contemplating scenes of the sea in the early morning, enjoying far-away views of ships busily coming and going.
2. Mui Ne Sand Dunes
Located in Mui Ne ward (about 22km form Phan Thiet city) the famous “flying sand dunes” is a place that tourists cannot ignore when they travel to Binh Thuan. Stretching for kilometers, the sand dunes here change their own shapes after each wind. Everyday, this place attracts a lot of people coming to experience the quiet space, catch winds blowing in from the sea or to try a new kind of sport: sand skiing. The appropriate time to visit these red sand dunes is about 5:00 am in the morning or 4:00 pm in the afternoon, when the temparature is moderate and you can sitting on the smooth sand watching the sun goes up or down.
3. Hon Rom
Hon Rom, sited about 30 kilometers from Phan Thiet city, is a charming place with a long curved beach leaning toward red sand dunes and lines of green coconut trees. Tourists will be attracted by Hon Rom’s pristine beauty, pure sea water and peaceful waves. The view here is most picturesque in the early morning and when the sun set.

4. Co Thach Beach
Co Thach Beach is like an art masterpiece that nature grants to Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. With innumerable rocks of many colors such as yellow-brown, purple, white, blue, pink, red.... this place is an attractive destination to visitors. These rocks, which have different sizes, shapes and colors, are fancifully glittering under the impact of waves and sunlight. Co Thach beach has been recognized to be the biggest seven-color stone bank of Vietnam.
5. Cu Lao Cau (Cau Island)
Located off the coast of Tuy Phong district about 9 km, around 1 hour by boat, Cu Lao Cau is surrounded by thousands of big rocks. You would be surprised by the beautiful landscape of this pristine island. There are thousands of rocks in strange shapes, nice and serene beaches, and peculiar mountains. Tourists can behold colorful coral reefs through the pure sea water there.

6. Phu Quy Island
Located offshore of Binh Thuan province, about 100 km from Phan Thiet city, Phu Quy Island is known as one of the most beautiful islands in East Sea. In the island, besides fine beaches like Trieu Duong bay, Nho beach, tourists can visit many cultural-historical sites, such as Linh Quang pagoda, Linh Son pagoda, Van An Thanh (temple of whale), etc. Moreover, the island is home to delicious and nutrious seafood: King crab, squids, fishes, cone snail...
